 Abba, Ukpo, Ukwulu Land Dispute: Anambra Deputy Governor Visits, Appeals for Calm  By Vincent O Ezechukwu  The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim on Monday, January 30, 2023, paid an unannounced visit to the disputed expanse of land that has pitched Abba, Ukpo and Ukwulu against each other for decades. Mr Deputy Governor who is the chairman of the State Boundary Committee, during the visit stated that the Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo has charged the committee to be proactive in land dispute to avoid escalation that may lead to destruction of properties or even loss of lives. He pleaded for calm while the committee expedite action toward achieving a permanent resolution of the issue in question.  Dr Ibezim explained that" our government is not the type that sits in the office and waits for reports, we came to see things for ourselves to have a first-hand assessment of the situation to avoid escalation."  He also cautioned that communities should avoid

 Ibezim Assures Victory for APGA Candidates in Mbaukwu Ward, as APC Woman Leader Joins APGA  By Vincent O Ezechukwu The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim has assured victory for APGA Candidates in Mbaukwu Ward, in the forthcoming General Election, assuring that APGA Government under Prof. Soludo has great plans for Ndi Anambra. Mr Deputy Governor, made this known during a strategic meeting of APGA Mbaukwu Ward at his residence in Mbaukwu,  on Sunday, 29 January 2023. Dr Ibezim during his address, explained some of the programmes the Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has set in place to empower the youths of Anambra, assuring them that dividends of democracy will get to everyone including the less privileged in the society.  Technical Working Committee on Prevention of Flood Disaster, Visits Anambra State, Assess Damages Caused by the Recent Flooding in the State  By Vincent O Ezechukwu In line with the Federal Government's resolve to find permanent solution to the perennial flooding that is ravaging several states along the banks of Niger and Benue Rivers, including Anambra State, a Technical Working Committee on Prevention of Flood Disaster in Nigeria, visited Anambra State to assess the level of damage caused by the 2022 flooding that affected Eight local government areas in the state. The Technical Working Committee, which is part of the Presidential Committee on Prevention of Flood Disaster, headed by the Honorable Minister for Water Resources, was set up by the President to find permanent solution to the recent flood that devastated most of the states in North Central, South East and South South geo political zones, with a 90 days mandate to visit states affected by the 2022 flooding to assess
