The Dualization of Nwagu Agulu - Nnobi - Nnewi - Ozubulu - Okija Roads: A Gateway to Boost Transportation of Goods and Services By Izuchukwu Adichie Effective road infrastructure is the backbone of any thriving society, playing a crucial role in accelerating economic transformation. Under Soludo’s government, Anambra State has embarked on an ambitious journey to significantly enhance its road network by dualizing major roads. This policy not only bolsters industrial growth but also streamlines the delivery of goods and services while ensuring that travel becomes a seamless and pleasurable experience for both residents and visitors alike. Understanding the urgent need for modernization, Soludo has awarded the construction and dualization of the all-important Nwagu Agulu - Neni - Nnokwa - Adazi - Nnobi - Nnewi - Ozubulu - Okija Roads, an impressive stretch of 36 kilometers. This infrastructure project is expected to link the state transport network. Reflecting on the past, one cannot he

Beyond the Soludo's speeches that moved the needle, Anambra has taken the lead by pioneering the State Economic Council BY IZUCHUKWU Adichie I was struck by Soludo's powerful speech on Tuesday at the Governor's Lodge as he addressed the media in defense of the two new Anambra laws passed by the State House of Assembly. These laws give operational life to judgments of the Supreme Court. Later, on Wednesday, I watched him on television, delivering a keynote address at the inaugural Abuja Business and Investment Summit. His deep, resonate voice held my attention as he emphasized the need for intentional domestic investments, the implementation of business-friendly policies, and the agenda of putting Nigeria first. I was captivated not only by his charismatic delivery in his trademark, a deep, rich voice, but I was also impressed by the compelling content, depth, and substance of his speeches on both times. Soludo presence made a lasting impact at the Abuja Economic and Invest

Can local governments survive without collaborating with state governments? By Izuchukwu Adichie. Beyond the arguments for the recently passed Anambra State Local Government Law 2024, Governor Soludo deserves congratulations for his consistent demonstration of being a true democrat who upholds the rule of law. He has fulfilled one of his campaign promises by conducting the most peaceful and transparent local government election in line with sections 7 and 8 of the 1999 Nigeria constitution, as amended. Additionally, he has guaranteed local government autonomy in accordance with the law, which empowers the states through their House of Assemblies to make laws regarding the structure, composition, finance, and functions of such councils. While the independence of local government is guaranteed for deepening democracy at the grassroots level, the big question is: can local governments in Nigeria survive without collaboration with the state governments in the present day where almost all

Obiora Okonkwo is Jealous, Lonely, and in need of a Dire Political Massage BY IZUCHUKWU Adichie The Obiora Okonkwo's verbal attack on Governor Soludo comes from feelings of envy, loneliness, and a desire for transactional politics. It is important to note that Obiora's jealousy intensified after his defeat in the last gubernatorial election, where he even failed to secure victory in his polling unit against Soludo. Obiora made false claims about Soludo, including accusing him of acting like a warlord in enemy territory and driving on armored personnel carriers. However, he failed to acknowledge that Soludo has maintained a modest lifestyle, using the least expensive official car — INNOSON and convoy and maintaining the least protocols. Soludo's convoy proudly showcases vehicles exclusively MADE IN ANAMBRA. Obiora also mentioned that Anambra is like a ghost town, but failed to acknowledge that his airline, United Nigeria Airlines, still operates daily return flights from Chi
