Governor Soludo, the national leader of the party, led the charge, drawing hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic party supporters, volunteers, and various groups to the Alex Ekwueme Square for the electrifying event. Amidst chants of 'Onye aghana nwanne ya!,' the 21 local government chairmen, their deputies, and 326 counselorship candidates were proudly presented with the party's flags, igniting an atmosphere of total support and excitement. The arrival of Soludo and other APGA leaders and the presence of vibrant traditional bands, drummers, and masquerades performances further fueled the crowd's fervour. The overwhelming turnout at the rally strongly demonstrates that Anambra firmly stands with APGA and is

Why APGA will sweep LG  polls in Anambra BY IZUCHUKWU Adichie In Anambra, it is an undeniable truth that there is only one political party, and Ndi Anambra will continue to wholeheartedly support the party in driving the state's development forward. As the local government council election nears, it is evident that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Nigeria's first Progressives party, will emerge victorious in a landslide victory. We have full confidence in the Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) to conduct peaceful and transparent elections. As the ruling party in the state, APGA is ready to secure a resounding success in the forthcoming September 28th council polls, which comprise the election of 21 Local Government Chairmen and 326 Councilorship. Governor Soludo stated this at the Commissioning of Trans-Nkisi Recreation Centre, Onitsha. The governor, who described Onitsha as the commercial capital of the South East, said that if it doesn't move, the entire region will not move. "I am excited to come to Trans-Nkisi. Soludo's Inspiring Example

Image
Soludo's Inspiring Example By Izuchukwu Adichie Allow me to take a quick trip down memory lane. In January 2021, I had the opportunity to meet my principal and leader, Governor Soludo, at the Women Development Center in Awka. He was there to engage with a select group of individuals as part of his consultation for the governorship seat. As he entered, greeted everyone, and took his seat, I couldn't help but notice not only his impressive appearance but also the strong sense of purpose that surrounded him. This initial impression of a man on a mission has proven to be accurate in the following years. Since then, Soludo's government has powerfully shown that holding the position of governor should not be viewed as a personal accomplishment, but rather as an opportunity to positively impact the lives of the people who have entrusted you with their well-being. It is about using your authority to improve the overall welfare of the state through compassionate and selfless leader

Chekwas Okorie and his Bestial Insanity

Image
Chekwas Okorie and his Bestial Insanity BY IZUCHUKWU Adichie A friend recently asked me if Chekwas Okorie might be suffering from a psychotic disorder after he shared a press statement by Chekwas. In the statement, Chekwas made unfounded accusations and called for disciplinary action against the legitimate leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) under Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa. Chekwas and his co-conspirators had attempted to seize leadership using a non-existing COURT ORDER. In response to my friend's question, I expressed my concern that Chekwas might be suffering from severe mental instability, as his statement seemed senseless and treacherous. Chekwas was expelled from APGA, and this decision was upheld in 2009 by the Supreme Court. He resorted to blackmail and gradually became treacherous, exhibiting delusions of self-importance and descending into a violent psychotic disorder. His behavior reached a disturbing point when he danced in the market square. In my opini

He reformed the local government system and its welfare, enacted the Anambra State electoral law, and set up the Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission. Unlike many other politicians, Soludo has shown true commitment to his promises, and we have full confidence in his capabilities. It has been two decades since Ndi Anambra had local government elections. The participating political parties have begun preparing for the election scheduled to be held on September 28, 2024, by the Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission. This commission is responsible for conducting and supervising peaceful, free, and fair elections in the state and has announced that they are ready and p
