The leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo in Idemili North LGA paid a Courtesy Visit to High Chief Chuksbrown Igboanua KSM (Ogene Uke) Transition Chairman of Idemili North LGA at his office yesterday.

Ohaneze Ndigbo is a sociocultural group of the Igbo people.

In his speech, Chief Augustine Udoh Chairman of Ohaneze Ndigbo in Idemili North LGA who was accompanied by his Exco Members across the Ten Towns in the council area, said that they came to Felicitate with one of their own Mr Chairman, High Chief Chuksbrown Igbonua who is a member of Ohaneze Ndigbo Idemili North Chapter.


He noted that his appointment was a good decision, putting the right peg in the right hole and was welcomed by everyone.

He assured that Ohaneze Ndigbo Idemili North is ever ready to synergize with the council boss to ensure unity among Ndigbo in the Idemili North LGA and partner in the good interest of the people.



Responding Mr Chairman, High Chief Chuksbrown Igboanua who was visibly happy to receive them, noted that as a member of Ohaneze Ndigbo Idemili North Chapter and as Former Vice Chairman who served the sociocultural group twice in the council area, thanked them for coming to Felicitate with him on his appointment assuring that he will work for the Greater Good of Ndi Idemili North LGA.

He equally appreciated them of their unalloyed support to Anambra State Government despite been members of different political parties.



He reminded them that Mr Governor Prof Charles Chukwuma had been supportive of the Igbo cause and agenda, admonishing them to imbibe the slogan of Mr Governor which is "See Something Say Something" towards achieving a liveable and prosperous Anambra State.

In a Vote of Thanks, Youth Leader Ohaneze Ndigbo in Idemili North LGA assured the council boss that they are solidly behind his administration and will work with him.
