......Seeks For More Support From Idemili South Stakeholders.

The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Idemili) yesterday celebrated her one year anniversary in office, seeks for more support from stakeholders.


Addressing umu Idemili, Council boss said, he appreciates God for the gift of life, strength and protection upon her and the council members, she also commended Governor Charles Soludo and his amiable wife, Dr. Nonye Soludo for giving her such opportunity to serve umu Idemili South.


Council boss maintained that since Governor Charles Soludo took the mantle of leadership, there are alot of development in the State, urging ndi Anambra to continue supporting Charly Nwamgbafor in his bid for liveable homeland.


She further detailed her achievements in the past one year and seeks for more support from Idemili South stakeholders to take the council area to the next level of development.


Anambra State APGA Chairman, Chief Sir Ifeatu Obi-Okoye said that Hon. Amaka Obi is the only woman among the Transition Committee Chairmen in the 21 Local Government Area and she is doing very well. He urged Idemili South to keep supporting the APGA Government ably led by Professor Charles Soludo.


While the President of Asatu, Chief Titus Akpudo lauded APGA State Chairman, Sir Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, Hon. Amaka Obi and all the people that attended the event, stating that Hon. Amaka Obi's achievements is outstanding, urging people of Idemili to continue supporting Iyom Idemili.


Also speaking were member representing Idemili North in State House of Assembly, Hon. Kingsley Udemezue, the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Don Onyenji, Chairman Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, Anambra chapter, Prince Emeka Udodeme.


In their separate remarks, Hon. Kingsley Udemezue applauded Hon. Amaka Obi for her achievements since she was appointed as TC Chairman, prayed for God's protection, more strength to continue her good works in the council area. While Hon. Don Onyenji said, the program is a solidarity to commend Council Boss.


In his words, We are thanking God for Hon. Amaka Obi and been the only woman among the TC chairmen, Iyom is representing women and her appointment described that women are great leaders and we will continue supporting her.


Iyom remains the outstanding Transition Committee Chairman in the history of Anambra State. We are strongly behind her- HRH Igwe MacAnthony Okonkwo(Igwe Elibe, Igwe Alor)


Prince Emeka Udodeme maintained that Hon. Amaka Obi has achieved more than her predecessors.


Highlight of the event were detailed achievements of the Transition Committee Chairman, Hon. Amaka Obi and cutting of one year anniversary cake.
