Marking Governor Chukwuma Soludo's second anniversary, his vision for Anambra is crystal clear: to bring the future of technology to the state. His administration has been quietly but assertively cultivating a vibrant tech community, nurturing a new generation of experts who will lead the global tech revolution right from our homeland. The Solution Innovation District (SID) center in Awka has already become a magnet for young tech talents, startups, and innovators who share a passion for modern solutions and groundbreaking ideas. No wonder, on March 21, 2023, he signed a partnership with Microsoft Africa and Wootlab Foundations to train Anambra youths on various digital skills.

Under Soludo's "Everything Technology, Technology Everywhere" philosophy, his administration is strategically developing the innovation hub ecosystem. This foundation has paved the way for Soludo's ambitious smart mega-city, clinching multiple technology awards at the National Innovation and Digital Economy Council, including Best State in Digital Technology Development and Infrastructure Development, as well as Awards in e-government and Human Capital Development. 

In line with the vision of transforming the state into a smart mega city, Soludo's government through the ICT Agency has launched the state official website https://anambrastate.gov.ng and a pilot phase of its public Wi-Fi initiative in Awka, tagged Solution Wi-Fi. The initiative is operational in three strategic locations in the state capital, and users within these locations can enjoy one hour of free internet access every 24 hours. The administration has launched the first-time-ever electronic identification card scheme for civil servants and has conducted training for government agencies and other sectors in line with improving the Anambra Digital tribe.

Having sponsored the Floris Lab Team to attend the TechCrunch startup battlefield in Silicon Valley earlier this year, Soludo is partnering with renowned global tech companies and leading US counterparts, Soludo's administration is working to build a unique tech hub – Africa's Silicon Valley, embodied in the Solution Innovation District (SID). This ambitious project aims to integrate technology into every corner of life, ushering in a new era of technovation and progress.

 NACA Inaugrates IBBSS Technical Team in Anambra State  Dr. Nkem Okeke  ED. ANSACA  The National Agency for Control of AIDS (NACA) on Tuesday, April 28, 2026,  inaugurated the Anambra State Technical Team to carry out a survey on the Integrated Biological and Behavioral Surveillance Study, (IBBSS) in Anambra State  with the goal of achieving epidemic control in the State.
