ASSG PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO THE DUNUKOFIA MAYOR, ONYEMAOBI  A delegation of ALL Soludo Support Group - ASSG, Dunukofia Chapter on Thursday visited the Chairman of Dunukofia Local Government Area, Hon. Onyemaobi Augustine Nonyelum (Ancestor) in his office at the LG Secretariat, Ukpo. The purpose of the visit was to officially congratulate the new LG Mayor on his new position, to familiarize with his new office and to declare support for his administration. While speaking, the SSG Dunukofia LG Coordinator, Chief Emeka Onyejegbu (Ide) who led the delegation said, that the appointment of Hon.  IDEMILI SOUTH LG BOSS AND TRANSITION C'TTEE MEMBERS  INSPECT WORKS ON BLOCKED DRAINAGES AT NNOBI & AKWA-UKWU As part of the efforts to work in tandem with the vision of the Executive Governor, Prof.  Chukwuma Soludo,the transition committee chairman, Idemili South LGA, Hon Mrs. Immaculata Amaka Obi   (Iyom Idemili )  and some TC members went on an inspection tour to Nnobi and Akwaukwu axis to ensure the clearing of blocked gutters and refuse dumps along the road well perfectly removed. In a press interview, Hon. Obi opined that such work would be extended to other towns in Idemili South which must be inspected by herself and the transition C'ttee members. She extolled the virtues of the Governor in sustaining a clean and green environment. She also commended her team and assured umu Idemili South of a project driven leadership during her tenure in office.

 Health Ministry Rescues Two Auto Crash Victims  Two persons involved in a road accident that occurred at the Amawbia flyover axis of Enugu --Onitsha expressway have been rescued by a team from the State Ministry of Health Ambulance Service. The accident which occurred in the early hours of Thursday, 25tth August 2022 was attributed to reckless driving by a driver of an articulated vehicle resulting to  a head collision with another truck with yet to be identified registration number. One of the drivers of the articulated vehicles sustained a severe injury and was rushed to the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital Amaku, Awka, where he is currently receiving treatment while the second driver is relatively stable. Although,the identities of the victims have not been ascertained,an eyewitness said the accident was caused by loss of control by one of the drivers.
