PROF. SOLUDO INTERFACES WITH MANAGEMENT OF COOU TEACHING HOSPITAL ON WORKERS WELFARE

 Prof. Soludo Interfaces with Management of COOU Teaching Hospital Amaku


The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, on Thursday, July 28, 2022, held a closed-door meeting with the Management of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, University Teaching Hospital, Amaku, Awka.

The interface is part of Mr. Governor's effort to permanently resolve the reoccurring issues as regards workers' welfare in the state-owned Teaching Hospital.

The Governor was represented by his Deputy Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, at the meeting which nipped in the bud a planned industrial action by the workers.

Others present at the meeting include the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Ben Obidike, The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Joe Akabuike, and representatives of the workers' union, among others.

 ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND RECORDS ANOTHER BREAKTHROUGH, ARRESTS ONE NOTORIOUS SUSPECT AND RECOVERS ONE AK47 RIFLE IN THE CEILING OF AN APARTMENT. Police Operatives attached to the Special Anti-Cultism Squad Enugu-Ukwu acting on credible information on 6th December 2024 by 2.30 pm arrested one Miracle Mwakalor  (M) 18 years from Umubele village, Awka-South Local Government Area and recovered one AK47 Rifle and one magazine.  The Operatives burst the Criminal gang in their den during an evil debrief on how they want to commit havoc in Nibo, Awka South Local Government today.  Miracle was apprehended but his other gang members escaped.
