 APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN CONGRATULATES PETER CARDINAL OKPALEKE


The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has joined millions of Nigerians and Catholics all over the world to congratulate the newly-installed Cardinals of the church, particularly, His Eminence, Peter Cardinal Okpalaeke on the occasion of the formal installation of 20 Cardinals who were recently elevated to the position by the Supreme Pontiff, His Holiness Pope Francis. 


In a congratulatory message personally signed by him the National Chairman, Ozonkpu Dr Victor Ike Oye thanked God for the gift of Cardinal Okpaleke to Anambra State and Nigeria in general.  


The National Chairman who joined the delegation of Ndi Anambra at home and in diaspora in the company with the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo to witness the epoch making ceremony also thanked  the Supreme Pontiff for finding an illustrious son of Anambra State, Peter Cardinal Okpaleke, the current Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese worthy of such a rare honour (the 5th in the history of Nigeria). 



The visibly elated National Chairman noted that the shining qualities of humility, steadfastness, courage, godliness and patience in the face of adversity stood the newly-installed Cardinal out among the rank. 

He equally congratulated the Governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, whom he noted that it pleased God to choose another Cardinal of Anambra extraction in his administration noting that it is a sign of great accomplishments to come. 


The National Chairman prayed God to continue to sustain Cardinal Okpaleke with his immense grace to continue his service to the Church of God.
