NNEWI SOUTH @ 31: TC CHAIRMAN, HON. ANIAGBOSO DESCRIBES COUNCIL AREA AS SHINING LIGHT

Nnewi South @ 31: Forward Together

Umunne m

We have come a long way. Beyond the laws that created us and the pages that announced us as a local government 31 years ago, we have existed. Tales of our greatness have been told, flowing from the banks of Ochi and Urasi river to the shores of the great Niger even to the Atlantic.

We are a great people, affiliated for progress and rich in the glittering colours of our diverse yet unifying dialects and cultures. The Ten (10) communities and twenty (20) wards that make up our dear LGA have such unique attributes that have projected Nnewi South as a shining light in Anambra State.

We are blessed with sons and daughters who have distinguished themselves exceptionally in different fields and spheres of life. Our land is equally blessed, holding firmly to glories of the past and the promises of today and the future.

Though troubled in recent past, we will rise again better and stronger and more united than we have ever been, to move forward together, to rebuild our homeland.

We will, in line with the vision of Mr Governor to make Anambra State safe, clean, green, liveable and prosperous, be the solution and bring the solution agenda of Mr Governor to our people.

We will ensure that all plans and efforts of the State Government towards ensuring the security of lives and property, improving the standard of Education in the Primary and Secondary Schools, improving the standard of the various primary healthcare centres in our LGA, curbing the menace of erosion, encouraging agricultural revolution, infrastructural development and many more are implemented.

Through an effective public, private and community  partnerships, we will definitely move forward together to build a safe, clean, green, liveable and prosperous homeland.

Today, as we celebrate our 31st anniversary, may we remember the toils of our fathers and their sacrifices for beloved homeland. May we remember those who paid the price, even the ultimate, to keep our homeland and our people safe, and built the communities we call home today. May we bear in our hearts that it is now our collective responsibility to build a today that the future will be proud of.

On this note, may I wish the entire people of Nnewi-South LGA,  a Happy 31st Anniversary.

God bless you all!

God bless Nnewi-South LGA!!

God bless Anambra State!!!
