TC CHAIRMAN OF EKWUSIGO, HON CHIMEZIE OBI, JOINS IN MONTHLY SANITATION EXERCISE

 ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION EXERCISE AT EKWUSIGO L.G.A RECEIVED COMPLIANCE.


Environmental Sanitation exercise at Ekwusigo Local Government comprising of four towns Received compliance. The exercise started at about 7am to 10am with the TC Chairman leading the way.The Transition Chairman, Ekwusigo L.G.A, Hon. Chimezie Obi, Ward Councillors, Health Officials, law enforcement agents, waste management Contractor and some community leaders were in the fore front to making sure the clean-up exercise was successful.


Desilting of drainage channels, decongestion of heap of refuse and carting away of debris were duly supervised by the officials.


It was a humble plea by the T.C Chairman that every last Saturday in a month, environmental exercise should be actively observed. People were advised to comply to avoid litigation of any sort. Today's Sanitation exercise  was more or less a sensitization program, next month's exercise will leave more stories to tell on the part of defaulters; That for every household, there is need for timely sanitation in other to keep our environment clean. Our refuse contractor is ever ready to decogest stack of refuse gatherered across every town in Ekwusigo.


The T.C Chairman appreciated the effort of all those who participated actively in the exercise, urged Ndi Ekwusigo to always remain compliance for a better Ekwusigo L.G.A.
