2023 ELECTION: OVER FORTY MEMBERS OF PDP, APC JOIN APGA IDEMILI SOUTH

 2023 Elections: Over forty Members of PDP and APC supporters join APGA in Idemili South Council Area

Following the success of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, (APGA) in Anambra State at the just concluded Governorship. There are strong indications that the structure of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC), in the state is on the verge of total collapse, disintegration as mass defection of PDP and APC Youths cum stalwarts and their teeming supporters in Ojoto community looms.

The decampees were received into the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA) family at the Local Government H/Q Ojoto by the Chairman of Idemili South Council Area, Hon Amaka Obi (Iyom Idemili) alongside the party chairman Sir Joe Ezeanya (Ukwuata)

Speaking on the achievements of All Progressive Grand Alliance, (APGA) in the State, the council Boss said the party has done tremendously well over the years and put in place a Great Giant Striders.

Addressing the decampees, Hon Obi commended the Youths of Ojoto for their boldness, courage, making a wise decision and keying into Gov Soludo solution mantra of a prosperous, livable and smart homeland and assured them that the party will treat them equally with other existing members of the party.  

On his part, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA) candidate for Anambra State House of Assembly Idemili South Constituency, Sir Ebuka Igwe Esq.KSC.JP thanked the decampees for joining the igbo party. 

He said they have take the right step in the right direction which is gaining in the grassroots on daily basis.

Speaking on behalf of the decampees, Prince Dozie Okafor, Mr Dozie Muoghalu and Chief Egbuna Emenike assured that they would work to actualize the victory of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA) at all levels in the forthcoming 2023 General Elections. 

Also speaking on their defection, Mr Chukwudi Emeraba (Gbaluoto) said that all well-meaning onye idemili who believe in thesocio-economic and political fabrics and progress of Idemili South are aligning with the APGA to bring about the new development which Gov Soludo have already started.

In his vote of thanks, the Local Government party chairman, Sir Joe Ezeanya noted that since Hon Obi assumed office as the chairman of the council area, many people have expressed readiness and willingness to join the party. He said, APGA remains a party to beat in the state evidently because of the good governance dished out by the past and present administration and urged all who might still want to join the moving train to do so as the party’s arms are wide open for accommodation of new members who will stand by its tenets while thanking the decampees for their resolved. 

Decorations of the decampees with APGA uniform, performed by the party local Government chairman climaxed the event.
