APGA Family Dunukofia Pays Homage to Ndi Igwe Dunukofia As They Celebrate New Yam Festival. (Orira Ndi Igwe)

Onyemaobi Augustine Nonyelum the TC Chairman Dunukofia with the APGA Candidate for Dunukofia State House of Assembly, led the Dunukofia APGA family as they pay homage to the Six Traditional Rulers Of Dunukofia Clan.The visit started at the Palace of  HRM Igwe. (Sir ) George Okaa-Onwuogu ( Igwe Orachili Na Nawgu).

   Addressing his community people at Nawgu, De Ancestor thanked the Almighty for the bountiful harvest He has given Dunukofia and prayed that God keep Igwe Orachili in good  health to pilot the affairs of his people and also congratulated him on his New Yam Festival.

The APGA family moved to Ukwulu to the Palace of HRM Igwe Peter A. Uyanwa ( Igwe Ezedike), then to Ukpo where they paid homage to HRM Igwe (Dr.) R.C. Ezeh (Okofia VI) and the traditional head of Dunukofia Clan, at Ukpo, Igwe Okofia appreciated the APGA family and thanked them for coming.

At Umudioka HRH Igwe Raph Chukwura (Eze Dioka) welcomed the APGA family and praised them for coming together, saying that, it is a good sign of unity as they journey towards the election in 2023, the Traditional Prime Minister Onowu Ben Amuta who held brief for the Igwe assured APGA of the community support. Arriving Umunnachi, the Onowu of Umunnachi received them on behalf of HRM Igwe (Engr.) Ben Igwebuike Awachie (Igwe Agidigbo) and appreciated the APGA family efforts in paying homage to all the Igwes during the New Yam Festival.

The journey took a final stop at the Palace of HRM Igwe (Dr.) Emeka Ilouno ( Eze Dunu II). Igwe Ilouno showered blessings on APGA Dunukofia for always celebrating the New Yam Festival with him and prayed the continue so in subsequent times and wished  all Dunukofia towns successful celebrations.
