IHIALA LGA RECORDS FULL COMPLIANCE IN THE SEPTEMBER EDITION OF MONTHLY ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION EXERCISE

 Ihiala LGA, Records Full Compliance in the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise

The Transition Committee Chairman of Ihiala LGA, Hon. Kingsley Obi, has stated that Ihiala Local Government Area recorded full compliance in the September edition of the Environmental Sanitation Exercise which took place on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Speaking to Anambra News Alert reporters,  on telephone, the TC chairman, narrated how the people of the council area, cooperated with the authority and obeyed the order to keep their environment clean, he noted that people came out en mass to join the exercise.

Hon. Obi, informed that in Ihiala, the local government headquarters, the drainages in and around major roads in the commercial city, were desilted and debris removed by the council's newly launched Waste Management committee alongside Youth Corpers serving in the council area.

According to him, these were also the situation in other towns in the council area, including Okija, amongst others

 He finally assured that the tempo will be sustained in other to achieve clean, green and livable Anambra State as promised by the Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.
