ANAMBRA LADIES FORUM PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO MD/CEO ANAMBRA NEWSPAPERS AND PRINTING COOPERATION

 Anambra Ladies Forum, Friday, visited the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Anambra Newspapers and printing cooperation (ANPC), publisher of National Light, Ka O Di Taa and SportslightXTRA newspapers.


    The group, led by the convener of the forum, Blessing Nnabuife, was receive by the ANPC MD and CEO, Sir Chuka Nnabuife and the editor of the newspapers, Mrs Rose Oranye.


   Addressing the group, Sir Nnabuife expressed happiness over the nature of the initiative and commended the conscious growth of the organisation from Ihiala Ladies Forum to Anambra Ladies Forum, especially  their interest in indigent ladies; using what they have to procure support and solution to problems.

   He assured them of the corporation’s readiness to always support their noble programmes in every way possible, including giving directions and advice even as he urged them not to give way to distractions and discouragement no matter the challenges that may come their way.

   Contributing the Editor of National Light group of newspapers, Mrs Oranye advised members of the group to always be focused and work towards spreading the tentacles of the organisation beyond Anambra and Nigeria and lauded their efforts in working to uplift lives of girls.

   Earlier in her remarks, the convener of the group, miss Nnabuife explained that the forum, which was unveiled on the  September 4, 2022, is geared towards promoting culture; nurturing young talents among the ladies and  working in line with the shared values of ndi Anambra, which include  “to live a life of integrity and honour, to make my family, my State, my nation and my God proud, among others.

   “This forum was founded to create good pillar of dividends for our girls to build strong unity within themselves by using an enabling platform to change the narrative, perception and thought of people towards Anambra ladies; letting them know that Anambra ladies are the best; illustrious girls with  track records of integrity and excellence.

   “Our programs are established towards eliminating the bad effect of hardship, poverty, among others which have introduced our girls to so many immoral activities that affect their dreams in life. We’ll achieve this task by introducing skill acquisition programs, educating them on how to live  healthy lifestyles; empowering our girls to contribute to nation building and supporting Anambra Governor’s vision to build the state into a liveable, prosperous smart mega city.
