 Anambra State Government, through the ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Publishes  Scheduled Town Union Elections for December 2022/January 2023


In compliance with the constitution of Anambra State Town Union, Hon. Tonycollins Nwabunwanne - Mr. Commissioner, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs  hereby publishes the lists of communities scheduled for Town Union Election by December 2022/January 2023.

This publication is a first of it's kind in the history of Town Union Elections and it is in conformity with Mr. Governor's - Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo desire for Anambra Community Leaders to be elected through the best democratic practices that will bring peace and love in his promised prosperous and livable homeland. 


Note: All stakeholders and interested parties were duly communicated and engaged in series of meetings before arriving at the published date.

 Anambra Flags-off Sensitization Campaign Against Fake, Adulterated Products By Vincent O Ezechukwu In its desirous effort to combat fake, adulterated products and ensure originality in Anambra State, the Anti Piracy Society of Nigeria, APSON, in collaboration with Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo and the State's Ministry of Health embarked on sensitization campaign against fake and adulterated products in the State.  ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND RECORDS ANOTHER BREAKTHROUGH, ARRESTS ONE NOTORIOUS SUSPECT AND RECOVERS ONE AK47 RIFLE IN THE CEILING OF AN APARTMENT. Police Operatives attached to the Special Anti-Cultism Squad Enugu-Ukwu acting on credible information on 6th December 2024 by 2.30 pm arrested one Miracle Mwakalor  (M) 18 years from Umubele village, Awka-South Local Government Area and recovered one AK47 Rifle and one magazine.  The Operatives burst the Criminal gang in their den during an evil debrief on how they want to commit havoc in Nibo, Awka South Local Government today.  Miracle was apprehended but his other gang members escaped.
