 HON. UBA AYIOFU EMERGES FROM CARETAKER CHAIRMAN TO BECOME THE ELECTED PRESIDENT GENERAL OF UKWULU TOWN UNION.


Today, 26/12/22, we were outside, not for fun but for work. Ukwulu Town in Dunukofia Local Government got a new President General and other executives in a free and fair election that saw the loser congratulate the winner and promised to give him support.



My boss, Hon. Tonycollins Nwabunwanne called me up from my holiday to move straight to Ukwulu and salvage a situation that was gradually turning rowdy. 


On getting there at lightning speed, I met Onyemaobi Augustine Nonyelum aka Ancestor - TC Chairman Dunukofia Local Government Area who was already on the ground with his men to manage the situation. Harris Nwabueze II was also going live online while the election was ongoing to help capture any illegal activities by miscreants and mischief makers.


Together, with some dedicated staff of the Ministry and the local electoral college, we were able to give Ukwulu Town one of the best elections they have ever had as adjudged by the agents of both the winners and the losers who cheerfully signed the result sheets.


Congratulations to Ndi Ukwulu obodo Chinwe Udodi Umerie and Uchenna Umerie (Lake Uche) and Igwe Okpole Nwa Uyanwunne.


Anambra communities are becoming peaceful and harmonious once again. Thanks to Mr. Governor - Charles Chukwuma Soludo who promised us a livable and prosperous homeland.
