 IDEMILI SOUTH TC CHAIRMAN, HON. OBI WAS PRESENT AS NNOKWA ELECT NEW PG.

.....Congratulates Sir. Anyika as he emerges President General of Nnokwa Town Union.

The Transition Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon.(Mrs) Amaka Obi(Iyom Idemili) was present during the election of President General of Nnokwa Town Union.

The election which was peaceful, free, fair and credible, saw Sir. Joe Anyika(Ochiagha Nnokwa) emerged as the winner as he scored 121 votes to defeat his opponent Professor Ukpaka who scored 98 votes.


The winner was sworn in as the President General of Nnokwa after the election at Nnokwa hall.


Council Boss noted that she is happy with the peaceful election. She further advised the new President General to be a symbol of service and dedication.



In her words, I congratulates the new President General of Nnokwa Town Union and his Executives and I appealed to them to carry out their duties with incomparable hard work, dedication and creativity. 


Council Boss further urged them to work for the betterment and rapid growth of Nnokwa town.
