The TC Chairman of Anaocha LGA, Hon Gerald Ikechukwu Ozoh (Mmili) has flagged off solar powered borehole at Community Primary School Adazi-Ani, Anaocha LGA aimed at improving access to safe water for pupils, staff and community members at the school compound on Friday, June 23,2024.

During the flag off ceremony, Hon Ozoh commended the Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo for taking the lead in the Public Community Private Partnership model under his administration.

The Anaocha Boss noted that the initiative would boost the supply of hygienic water, sanitation and reduce infection in communities.

The Mayor commended the Commissioner for Local Governments,Hon Tony Collins Nwabunwanne for all his efforts in the ministry and ensuring that the solution agenda is carried out in all the Local Governments in Anambra state.



He affirmed that his administration will remain committed to the goal of ensuring that all the communities in Anaocha LGA gets a new lease with new infrastructural developments.


He lauded the Anambra State government for their collaboration in community developments and urged the people of Adazi- Ani to assist and guarantee  the project sustainability.


He also commissioned and dedicated a block of three classrooms in the school established and constructed in memories of Late Chief Wilfred Ezelisiaku Ekwe in particular and Law Chief Ezennia Onyeka Ezekaudo and others from great Ezieke kindred Adazi-Ani by Dim C.J. Martins Ekwe.

The borehole under the construction by Ejiofor Klem Aroh,CEO of Knight Angi Agro-Allied Limited shall feature Giant Tank stand; solar powered by Two big GP water tanks and four taps fetching points.

Engr Aroh promised to resume and deliver the water project in three weeks time.

Some of the personalities that attended were all the Heads of Departments of Anaocha Local Government led by the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Mrs Maudline Ezeokeke, Hon Cosmas Ejesieme,Hon Moses Ozokwelu,Hon Kene Aniekwenagbu, Hon James Ifewulu and PG Barr Ikechukwu Ezechukwu.

Others were ATU Adazi-Ani led by Barr IK Ezechukwu Olaedo, Nze Sam Ezekudo Enebeaku, ASATU Youth Leader, Adazi-Ani led by Mr Chukwuma Eyisi, Rev Fr Lawrence Onwuaso, Parish Priest, T Peter's Parish Adazi-Ani, Adazi-Ani Ward Councillors, Hon Michael Izunwane and Hon Igwebuike Okafor, Mrs Ezenwaka Justina , Headmistress of Community Primary School Adazi-Ani, Anaocha LGA Solution Team and other dignitaries


The Anaocha chairman pledged to sponsor two pupils from the school for a year in all their financial  consignment,

 welcome address and dancing formed the highlights of the occasion.
