Group honours Idemili South Council Chair, Amaka Obi with ‘Award of Honour’

A group National Union of Anambra State Students (NUASS), Tuesday, honoured the Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon Obi Amaka Iyom, with ‘Award of Honour’.

According to the NUASS President, Comr Nnanna Lawrence Chukwudi the Idemili South Council Boss was recognised and selected by the students based on her impact and commitment on service to the good people of Idemili South, her excellent scorecard having achieved great giant strides and service to humanity.

While explaining further, the National vice president of the group, Ms Ifunanya Jasmine Benjamin said the award was also in appreciation of her contributions to student development and capacity building of young people from Idemili South Local Government Area of the State.


In her response, Hon Amaka said, “I heartily express my profound appreciations to the executives and members of National Union of Anambra State Students (NUASS) for this honour to me today. Thanked them for finding her worthy of the award while noting that she feels humbled by the gesture and accepted it.
