The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Idemili) has hailed the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo over palliative measures to Cushion the economic challenges in Anambra State.


Hon. Amaka Obi who is also the convener of Women Initiatives For Greater Anambra(WIGA) commended Governor Charles Soludo, described the steps taken by Charly Nwamgbafor as timely, stating that it will go a long way to assist residents in the state.


She further said that Idemili South residents were full of praises for the Governor on the timely intervention regarding the palliative measures to cushion the effect of economic challenges in the State, saying that it will go a long way to ease the pains of the masses.


She described salary increments of all public servants, paying every pensioner and public servant a monthly flat cash award, distributing rice to residents in the state, exempt hawkers, wheel barrow and truck pushers, vulcanizers, artisans, okada drivers, petty traders from all forms of taxation/levies with capital of less than N 100, 000, reduction of IGR payments of all transporters and many others as service to humanity which is service to God


Council boss urged Idemili South residents and ndi Anambra to keep on supporting Anambra State Government ably led by Professor Charles Soludo in order to achieve his vision of liveable homeland.
