Nnobi: Amb Chiagoziem Akonu assures of good leadership, gets more endorsement

The frontline contender's for the office of Nnobi Youth President in the forthcoming election, Amb Chiagoziem Akonu popularly known as Banja, has assured of radical departure from the low tempo of leadership to that which would ensure robust and good leadership aimed at delivery of quality services to the women, youths and Nnobi community in general.


Amb Akonu, who frowned at the ugly situation of low Human Capital Development in the community said, his leadership would ensure that the Youths of Nnobi community added their voices at both the Community, Local Government and State level.


Amb Akonu made the disclosure at the Birthday Ceremony of the Comr Okechukwu Mmadunagu, the incumbent president (P.G)  of Nnobi community youth.

He made the remarks when he received the endorsement of an illustrious son of Ebenesi Nnobi in the name of Mr Emeka Umeji (Woja Woja) on the occasion of Mr Okechukwu Mmadunagu's (Egbe) birthday on Sunday 20th August, 2023.

 Mr Emeka Umeji appreciated the decision of the candidate, Amb Chiagoziem Akonu to run for the office, saying that he is doing so for the betterment of the people.

Mr Umeji further assured of mobilization and sensitisation and promised to explore other strategies to ensure the victory of Amb Chiagoziem Akonu in the forthcoming Nnobi Youth Election.


He seized the occasion to announce the adoption of Amb Chiagoziem Akonu (Banja) as his candidate based on his credibility, capability, integrity, emotional intelligence, and confidence. Meanwhile, some other members of the Nnobi Youth Association including the Public Relation Officer (PRO), Comr Decency, Comr Okechukwu Okonkwo (Nwa Aba) Urchman Uzoejinwa (Uzoejinwa Global) amongst others reiterated their commitment for the candidacy of Amb Akonu and expressed optimism to the victory of their candidate.


Reacting to the endorsement, Amb Chiagoziem Akonu expressed gratitude to Mr Emeka Umeji. He urged the women and youths to support and vote for him that restoring peace, progress, and unity of Nnobi Youth Association state must be prioritised above money politics. He implored the electorate alike to view themselves as being in the race as it can only be by a concerted effort that victory can be guaranteed.
