 APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN PREACHES IGBO UNITY AT OHANEZE NDIGBO IMEOBI/GENERAL ASSEMBLY 


The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, has called for Igbo unity and a sense of purpose in the pursuit of their agenda in Nigeria 

Barr. Ezeokenwa made the call at the Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide Secretariat during its Imeobi/General Assembly Meeting in Enugu. 

Ezeokenwa emphasized the need for collective action and cooperation in tackling the challenges and issues affecting the Igbo Nation. He urged Ndi Igbo and groups to set aside their differences and work together towards the betterment of the Igbo nation.

The National Chairman stressed the significant contributions of the Igbo Nation to the socio-economic development of Nigeria and urged Ndi Igbo to continue striving for excellence in various fields. He encouraged them to actively participate in politics, business, education, and other sectors in order to maximize their potential and positively impact the country at large.



Ezeokenwa emphasized the need for the Ndi Igbo to have strong leadership that can effectively represent and advocate for their interests at local, national, and international levels. He called for the emergence of visionary leaders who will champion the cause of the Igbo Nation and foster unity and progress.


Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide General President, Chief Dr Emmanuel Iwanyanwu, in his welcome address, acknowledged the challenges faced by Ndi Igbo, both within Nigeria and in the diaspora. He underscored the need for harmony in order to effectively address these challenges and work towards a better future for the Igbo nation.



Ezeokenwa's impassioned plea for Igbo unity resonated with attendees of the Imeobi, which included executive members of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide and critical stakeholders in the Igbo project. They recognized the importance and urgency of coming together as a cohesive force. This call for unity has sparked discussions and initiatives within the Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide Secretariat and beyond, prompting individuals and groups to actively engage in activities aimed at promoting Igbo unity and development.
