GOVERNOR SOLUDO CALLS FOR A SOUTHEAST PLAN AND HOMELAND CONSCIOUSNESS



Governor Chukwuma Soludo, on Thursday, September 28, 2023, proposed a 100-year development plan and agenda centered on homeland consciousness and partnerships across the five (5) eastern states.

He made the call during a 2-Day Southeast Economic and Development Summit held in Owerri, Imo State. For Soludo, the eastern region must determine to move forward despite challenges, and to move forward the region must believe in itself and its abilities, else the development plan cannot be achieved.



He further stated that south-easterners being an itinerant people, can’t be intolerant, hence, the need to partner with Nigeria as a country because Nigeria and Africa needs south-easterners as much south-easterners need Africa and the rest of the world.

 ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND RECORDS ANOTHER BREAKTHROUGH, ARRESTS ONE NOTORIOUS SUSPECT AND RECOVERS ONE AK47 RIFLE IN THE CEILING OF AN APARTMENT. Police Operatives attached to the Special Anti-Cultism Squad Enugu-Ukwu acting on credible information on 6th December 2024 by 2.30 pm arrested one Miracle Mwakalor  (M) 18 years from Umubele village, Awka-South Local Government Area and recovered one AK47 Rifle and one magazine.  The Operatives burst the Criminal gang in their den during an evil debrief on how they want to commit havoc in Nibo, Awka South Local Government today.  Miracle was apprehended but his other gang members escaped.
