 APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN STRIKES GOLD AGAIN WITH YET ANOTHER TRAILBLAZER LEADER AWARD!

[Awka] The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, has once again found himself in the spotlight as he is honored with the prestigious Trailblazer Leader Award by the Anambra State Branch of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA).


Fida, as an international organization, has been at the forefront of transforming societies and paving the way for progress. It advocates for children and women's access to justice and works towards eradicating discrimination.


In her address, the Chairperson of FIDA Anambra State Branch, His worship Genevieve Osakwe, who spoke on the theme; Digital Technology: an effective tool for curbing domestic violence and child trafficking, described Ezeokenwa as a true trailblazer, highlighting his innovative approaches as the Chairman of a foremost party in Nigeria to address pressing societal issues.


In his acceptance speech, Ezeokenwa expressed his deep gratitude for the prestigious award and commended FIDA Anambra State Branch for their unwavering commitment to advocating for women's rights and fighting against gender-based violence. He acknowledged the TrailBlazer Leader Award as a source of inspiration to continue working relentlessly to empower women, protect their rights, and ensure a safe environment for all. He dedicated the TrailBlazer Leader Award to the victims and survivors of domestic violence and child trafficking, recognizing their strength and resilience in the face of unimaginable challenges.


The APGA National Chairman underscored the importance of recognizing individuals who strive to make a positive impact on society, and he urged others to join the cause in creating a safer and more equitable world for everyone. With an impassioned voice, he emphasized the need for collaborative efforts among government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and individuals to tackle these social issues effectively.
