 IDEMILI SOUTH LGA 2023 YOUTH/WOMEN EMPOWERMENT, PRESENTATION OF START UP KITS/EQUIPMENT AND COMMISSIONING OF VARIOUS COMPLETED PROJECTS IN THE LG.



The Idemili South LG under my leadership has made concerted efforts to provide training and skill development opportunities for  youths, women equipping them with valuable skills that will enable them to secure gainful employment and become entrepreneurs in their respective fields.

In the words of Mr Governor, “the Primary need of the youth is Jobs! Jobs! and quality Jobs! …” adopted from A People’s Manifesto For A Greater Anambra Pg 41 . Prof SOLUDO has further proven this by empowering no fewer than 5000 youths from the 21 local government areas of Anambra State with N2 billion start-up capital In a one youth, and two skills programmes initiated by the state government. 

Following this audacious move by Mr Governor  on the 1st December 2023, I shall be empowering the people of Idemili south who has passed through Four Months of an intensive Skill Acquisition Training courses ranging from Information Communication Technology (ICT) and General Computer Appreciation, Seamstress/Tailoring, Bakery/Catering, Hairdressing and Nylon Production etc .

The Successful graduands shall be empowered with Twenty (20) Brand New HP Laptops each , Fifty Two(52) Brand new Sewing Machines, Fifty (50) New Baking Oven, Forty (40) Hairdressing Equipment Kits, forty (40) New Nylon Making machines and fifteen (15) Grinding Machines. 


The Empowerment which shall mark the end of the LGs second phase of youth and women Skills Acquisition Program in my one year in office shall be extended to another phase to include only the Disabled . 

The Massive empowerment initiative shall not only create long-term impact and  reduce unemployment but also enhances the state’s human capital, contributing to economic growth and prosperity especially at the grassroots. 

I shall, same date officially present some of the completed Projects in the LG for Commissioning . Most of these projects have very high economic value especially at the grassroots. This is to further buttress my strategy that grassroot Socioeconomic Development is an unavoidable rudiment for growth and prosperity of a nation. 

The Projects ready includes ; 

- Newly built Water Borehole with Overhead tanks in Eke Market Awkaetiti 

- Newly Built Modern Toilet Constructed for the Eke market traders Awkaetiti 

- Afọr Nnobi Market Barricade 

- Re-built Burnt INEC Office OJOTO 

- The newly built ICT building inside Idemili South LG Secretariat OJOTO

- renovated and fenced Security Outpost  in Idemili South LG .

It’s in light of bringing Solution to Ndị Idemili south that every effort is geared towards improving the livelihood of Idemili people . 



With Governor Soludo’s dedication to ensuring all round human capital development , with a focus on reaching youths in both urban and rural areas, reflects his understanding of the diverse needs of the youths and the importance of equitable access to opportunities.

In Idemili south LG it’s work and more work , am very passionate about this and that’s the cardinal goal of the Soludo Solution Agenda !
