The “poor people’s governor”
The “poor people’s governor”

I was moved to tears, but I had to control myself not to be overtaken by tears of joy. It was an emotional moment at the Emmaus House, Awka, as I watched Soludo make an entrance into the arena where over five (5) thousand elderly, vulnerable, and disabled persons had gathered for a special session with this compassionate and transformative governor.
For Soludo, there is something special about him, natural and unscripted, wherever he goes, the people, mothers, young people, and the downtrodden who have benefited from his good governance will gather to sing his praise, compose instant songs, dance for him, and give him feedback about his government program. So when the chant of the “POOR PEOPLE’S GOVERNOR (GOOVNO UMU OGBENYE)” kept chanting on the air thunderously, I knew these things were natural.
Because he has a passion for lifting people out of poverty and putting smiles on the faces of the people, he is intentional and committed to achieving a “ZERO POVERTY RATE” in Anambra. Nothing is impossible when Soludo is involved, and trying to solve the most difficult issues in his lifestyle. His administration has put in place programs, and policies and carried out actions to make life better for ndi Anambra no matter how weakly placed.
Na eziokwu, Soludo bu “Goovno umu ogbenye”
