Akwaeze, Anambra -The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, has affirmed that only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile and that service to others is the rent one pays for his room here on Earth.

The APGA National Chairman, joined by his amiable wife Mrs. Amara Ezeokenwa, spoke at the commissioning of the donated male dormitory at Community High School, Akwaeze, Anocha LGA, by Chief Sir Ikenna K. Okafor, KSS (Ide Akwaeze), in commemoration of the 10th year memorial of late Chief Paulinus Okafor and the 10th Anniversary of the Idi Ezeani Nzekwuabuo Foundation. Ezeokenwa commended Chief Sir Ikenna K. Okafor, KSS, for his generous contributions to the community, which include members' outreach schemes.

The event showcased the power of giving back to the community.

The executive governor of Anambra State and the National Leader of APGA, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, who performed the commissioning but was represented by the Chief of Staff, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, commended Chief Okafor for his outstanding commitment to social welfare and community development.


The occasion began with a holy mass presided over by His Lordship, Most Rev. Dr. Paulinus Ezeokafor, the Bishop of Awka Diocese. During the sermon, the importance of charitable contributions and community service was highlighted, setting the tone for the rest of the event.


Chief Sir Ikenna K Okafor KSS expressed his gratitude to the APGA National Chairman for his support and participation in the commissioning event, underscoring the impact of collaborative efforts in uplifting communities.


Distinguished dignitaries and community leaders graced the occasion.


The commissioning event served as a testament to the spirit of giving and the dedication to service, echoing the values and ethos championed by the All Progressives Grand Alliance.
