It is another Christmas season and Soludo’s selfless leadership has rekindled the fascinating story of celebrating Christmas in Anambra, ensuring that our people including our visitors will have the safest, pleasurable, and memorable holiday season in the state.

Every family in Anambra including the most weakly communities are singing Soludo’s praises. It has been two decades since our people and our visitors last enjoyed pleasurable vehicular movement, on Christmas and other days beyond, but the “Solution in Anambra” has not just constructed quality roads, he has gone ahead to beautify the roads, maintaining existing roads, mount solar-powered Street lights, revived traffic management and adequate security patrols.

This Christmas is different because, for the first time, thousands of Anambra households, nursing, and motherless homes received rice palliative, civil servants and pensioners were not left out of their non-taxable cash awards. The palliatives were directly distributed to the common man, disabled, and elderly on their doorstep through “Umunna” or kindreds and weren't distributed only to those in Awka or those who could travel to AwKa without making the poor and vulnerable a priority.

 ANAMBRA GOVERNMENT REGRETS MISTAKEN IDENTITY IN TANYA OKPALA STORY The Anambra State Government has expressed its regret and apology for the error of initially referring to the recently rescued Tanya Okpala as Jacqueline Okwueze.  It would be recalled that a few days ago, Tanya Okpala, the former Nigerian tennis champion, who was seen on the street of Awka, was widely referred to as Jacqueline Okwueze across various social media platforms.  Following public outcry to the Anambra State Government to come to her aid, she was traced and taken into custody for proper care by the State government  In its initial reference to the story, the State Government equally, wrongly referred to Tanya Okpala as Jacqueline Okwueze, following the lead from many social media publications. By Izuchukwu Adichie Apart from the fact that Lilian Orogbo diverted N200 million federal government palliatives meant for the people of Awka North and South constituency, she has a trait of a "beauty pageant and ineffective lawmaking". So when the announcement was made that she won the election for a federal house, and I saw her photos, I asked myself if it wasn’t such a calamity for a beauty pageant to transition into politics and even to represent Awka.
