GOVERNOR SOLUDO CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU ON HIS 72ND BIRTHDAY Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has conveyed his warm felicitations to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the joyous occasion of his 72nd birthday.  Governor Soludo in his congratulatory message described President Tinubu as a frontline statesman in Nigerian politics, renowned for his resolute commitment to democracy, fearless leadership, and unyielding patriotism.  His decades-long dedication to public service from Lagos State to the federal level, as well as his dogged fight for democracy has left an indelible mark on the political landscape of our nation.  The governor goes further to laud President Tinubu’s remarkable journey, marked by his visionary leadership, which has inspired hope and instilled confidence in the hearts of millions of Nigerians  Governor Soludo noted that his steadfast resolve and strategic foresight have been instrumental in shaping Nige

To the bitter critics: “You sycophantic jesters are suffering from a crisis of conscience.” By Izuchukwu Adichie When miscreants parade naked in the market square, defecate on ancestral shrines, and amuse the onlookers, elders must impose sanctions. This would prevent future occurrences and anger of the gods and avert a retributive plague that would befall the sycophantic jesters. Soludo's critics have donned the cloak of greed for power instead of serving Anambra state. These miscreants are struggling and suffering in their attempt to discredit Soludo's outstanding performance. They have eyes, but they refuse to see the truth. They have ears, but they ignore the voice of the people. They read, but they lack understanding. Their media attacks and verbal diarrhea are devoid of facts and reason. They attempt to sow discord instead of unity and bitterness instead of peace. Their ideology is not based on sound moral and logical reasoning, and their criticisms lack constructive sol

SOLUDO'S EMPLOYERS PASS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE IN HIM

SOLUDO'S EMPLOYERS PASS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE IN HIM  By Mazi Ejimofor Opara  The last few days have seen a groud-swell of protests by ndi Anambra in a manner not seen before. From traders and residents in Onitsha, to Keke drivers in Awka and Farmers in Amansea, Ebenebe and Awba ofemmili.  These critical stakeholders have been reacting to what they tagged a devious attempt at distracting Gov. Soludo by desperate politicians. This is coming after a viral distorted video by a yet to be identified paid agent exaggerated a portion of a uncompacted asphalt on an ongoing road construction site at Minax area of Ochanja.  The said video gave rise to a false narrative in the media stating alleging that the said road, which is still under construction, had been commissioned by Gov. Soludo, and that the road failed few days after the purported commissioning. This false narrative was targeted at discrediting the quality road infrastructure put in place by Governor Soludo in 24months which is a f

Soludo Mourns the Passing of Nollywood Icon, Amaechi Muonagor

Soludo Mourns the Passing of Nollywood Icon, Amaechi Muonagor By Christian ABURIME  Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, has expressed deep sadness over the news of the passing of Nollywood actor and producer, Mr. Amaechi Muonagor, aged 62, on Sunday. The Governor in his condolence message acknowledged the vital contributions that the late actor made to the entertainment industry in Nigeria, describing him as a consummate professional, a great gentleman and a distinguished son of Anambra State.  Governor Soludo further recalled that Mr. Muonagor, a native Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, brought countless moments of laughter and joy to audiences across Nigeria and beyond in his sterling acting career over many years.  Just few months ago, the Governor's wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo paid a visit to late Muonagor at the hospital and consequently plans were being put in place to further support the ailing actor. Sadly, he succumbed to the co

OZIGBO: A LESSER FEATHERWEIGHT POLITICIAN, SHOULD CONSIDER ANOTHER VOCATION

Image
OZIGBO: A LESSER FEATHERWEIGHT POLITICIAN, SHOULD CONSIDER ANOTHER VOCATION By Izuchukwu Adichie Valentine Ozigbo should wake up and smell the coffee. He is politically insignificant and lightweight, less than a featherweight in Anambra state, and he seems to have forgotten about past elections. He is not in the same league as Soludo, who established Transcorp Hilton as a CBN Governor, and Ozigbo's mismanagement of the said investment was evidence of his incompetence Ozigbo's empty promises of one term and claims that Mr. Peter Obi knew his plans were lies. Ozigbo's pathological lying and desperation have gone too far; he should pursue other vocations or be prepared to be exiled into political oblivion once and for all where he can continue his ranting as a drowning man clutching at every available straw for political relevance. It is evident that Ozigbo's attempt to discredit Soludo's outstanding performance, which even opposition leaders and an elected LP Assembl

EXPOSING VALENTINE OZIGBO'S LIES IN HIS RECORDED VIDEO 1- WHERE IS SAFE IN ANAMBRA? VALENTINE OZIGBO ASKED; Izuchukwu Adichie replied:   Even though Valentine Ozigbo was deaf and blind, he was aware that between 2020, 2021, and early 2022, no one could move freely in Anambra state. No political party was able to carry out their campaign activities, and when Soludo assumed office by March 17, 2023, about seven local governments, including Ogbaru LG,  were completely taken by criminals and the administrative headquarters completely burnt down. Killings, kidnappings, and arson were the order of the day.   Today, those local governments have been reclaimed, and Anambra is now completely secured under Soludo's administration through the determined efforts of security joint operations, the formation of Anambra central vigilante strike force, and the local government strikeforce, Community leaders, traditional institutions, church leaders, youth organizations, and individuals are not

VAL OZIGBO SHOULD BE TALKING TO A THERAPIST, NOT THE PRESS.

VAL OZIGBO SHOULD BE TALKING TO A THERAPIST, NOT THE PRESS.   By Mazi Ejimofor Opara  Valentine Ozigbo is suffering from midlife crisis, he needs to see a therapist and not the Press.  I read his uninspiring interview with the Press yesterday, and all he said were just two things. First, that he was unimpressed with Soludo's two years in office. To this I expected to read what he would have done differently in two years or why he was not impressed. Then the next thing I read was that he would do just one term in office and, according to him, Peter Obi knows this. What a man! He probably thinks saying this confers any advantage to his spineless ambition.  This is not the quality of mind I should be engaging for any reason. Val is obviously jobless and is currently in dire need of empowerment. I would recommend he applies for Soludo's "one youth two skill program", as he is well within the age for such active engagement. If Val is not impressed at the transformation of

Amansea -Ebenebe -Ugbenu -Ugbene -AwbaOfemili road will boost food production

Amansea -Ebenebe -Ugbenu -Ugbene -AwbaOfemili road will boost food production By Izuchukwu Adichie  The 26km Amansea -Ebenebe -Ugbenu -Ugbene -AwbaOfemili road has been executed strategically. Despite being the first-time tarred road owners, the concerned communities have been deliberately targeted by Soludo, particularly due to their significance in food production.  The construction of this road will have a significant impact on food production through improved transportation. As Anambra under Soludo has demonstrated readiness to tackle Nigeria's food crisis, the completion of this newly commissioned road is expected to open up the agricultural area to crucial players in food production and fish farming.  Moreover, the targeted area is known for producing a variety of food crops such as cassava and yam, including fish. It is hoped that this development will lead to the meeting of Nigeria's food needs, especially through the increased production of these food crops.

GANDUJE'S EXPECTED FEARS FOR THE APGA REVOLUTION IN ANAMBRA

Image
GANDUJE'S EXPECTED FEARS FOR THE APGA REVOLUTION IN ANAMBRA By Izuchukwu Adichie  It was Shakespeare that said that cowards die many times before their death----. The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Ganduje, said recently at his party's colloquium at Nnewi that Anambra State is not making the needed progress. People should not misunderstand Ganduje but should locate his speech in its proper perspective. Ganduje and his party, the APC, are preparing for next year's Anambra governorship election, and like a seasoned politician, he has seen the Soludo albatross standing solidly against their ambition. He has also evaluated the APC paperweight politicians, who are pretending to run against the man of the moment and Anambra's political hurricane, Professor Chukwuma Soludo. Ganduje is an experienced piper who knows when the tune has changed and who dictates a better tune. He has heard, he has seen and he knows, that the paperweights that facil

Governor Soludo Congratulates Dr. Adaora Umeoji on Appointment as First Female GMD of Zenith Bank Plc The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma  Charles Soludo, CFR, has conveyed his warmest congratulations to Dr. Adaora Umeoji, OON, on her recent appointment as the first female Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc.    Governor Soludo in his congratulatory message expressed happiness that her elevation to this esteemed position not only marks a significant milestone in her illustrious career but also stands as a confirmation of her dogged commitment as a top executive in the banking industry  He noted that Dr. Umeoji’s appointment as the first female Group Managing Director of the bank reflects a remarkable advancement towards gender equality and inclusivity in the corporate world, reaffirming the limitless potential and capabilities of female professionals in driving organisational success and societal progress.  Furthermore, with her impressive academic credentials, so

IN ANAMBRA WHERE EVEN FARMERS, STUDENTS, OKADA RIDERS, KEKE, AND SHUTTLE DRIVERS COMMISSION MULTI-BILLION NAIRA STATE GOVERNMENT PROJECTS By Izuchukwu Adichie  In Anambra State, ordinary people such as farmers, petty traders, students, okada riders, keke, and shuttle drivers are given the rare opportunity to commission roads. This is a remarkable feat, one that is yet to be witnessed in any other state. It is a testament to the high standard set by Soludo in the Nigerian political space. In just two years, he has made the most difficult tasks seem simple and demystified governance, setting a new standard for political leaders to emulate. Gone are the days when governors would delegate the commissioning of state projects to the most powerful individuals. Soludo introduced a new model that prioritizes the people - the true owners and users of the projects. This approach is not only transparent and accountable but also demonstrates that their hard-earned tax money is being put to good us

SOLUDO WITHOUT BORDERS: IN PRACTICE AND IN WORDS.

SOLUDO WITHOUT BORDERS: IN PRACTICE AND IN WORDS. By Mazi Ejimofor Opara Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR is not a man to be described in unclear terms because his actions have become too loud that people have established his capabilities even when he makes mere banters. From his political appointments, to his nomination of persons into admistrative capacities and even in his distribution and execution of projects. Soludo has proven to be a "man for all seasons", and non-parochial.  Many who now celebrate the transformation of Okpoko may not be aware that Soludo and his Party -- APGA -- narrowly lost elections in that once urban slum in 2021. Ndi Anambra are fully aware that Soludo has entrenched equity, Ecumenism and value based leadership. In just two years, every Local Government  in Anambra has felt a touch of Solution, with the people leading the charge in this task of developing the State as a liveable and prosperous homeland.  It does not come with so much surprise th

A NEW CITY WILL EMERGE ALONG AMANSEA-UFUMA ROUTE, SAYS SOLUDO AS THE NEW ROAD OPENS FOR PUBLIC USE By Christian ABURIME Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has hinted that a new city will emerge along the newly built 26.4 kilometres Amansea-Ntoko-Ndiukwuenu-Awa-Ufuma road. Governor Soludo stated this during the commissioning of the road where members of the various communities he visited who are connected to the long stretch of roads thronged the venues of the brief ceremonies in their numbers. They all dance in excitement to receive the Governor's entourage. The Governor explained that building "One Anambra" is the agenda, irrespective of social stratification, political party affiliation or religious inclination, pointing out that APGA's major concern is to lift everyone out of poverty in tandem with its mantra of "be your brother's keeper". According to the Governor, the late Mr. Joe Anatune who hailed from Awa was the fir

SOLUDO FULFILLS PROMISE, COMMISSIONS 12 KM ROADS IN OKPOKO

Image
SOLUDO FULFILLS PROMISE, COMMISSIONS 12 KM ROADS IN OKPOKO By Christian ABURIME Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has inaugurated the 12 kilometers of roads in  Okpoko roads, in Ogbaru Local Government Area. This is out of the 15 kilometres awarded by the present administration. The joy of the people of  Okpoko knew no bounds as they thronged the venue of the road inauguration to appreciate Governor Soludo. Addressing the people, Governor Soludo recalled with nostalgia the historical significance of the  Okpoko road, with about half a million people deprived of basic facilities such as pipe-borne water, street lights, General Hospital, among others. Expressing concern about the situation, the Governor maintained that the area constitutes the major urban regeneration agenda of his administration and had been hampered and devastated by  perennial flood. Governor Soludo stressed that his administration would not relent in providing the needed infrastructure facilities such as pip

SOLUDO ENDS FIRST HALF, STARTS THIRD YEAR IN OFFICE IN GRAND STYLE

SOLUDO ENDS FIRST HALF, STARTS THIRD YEAR IN OFFICE IN GRAND STYLE By Izuchukwu Adichie Soludo, today, Monday 18, starts the journey of his third year in office in a grand style, marking his second anniversary of visiting Okpoko slum, he will be commissioning a Water scheme, a brand new general hospital, and 12km of roads in the once-abandoned largest West African slum. It was due to Soludo’s human face, compassion, and selfless leadership that these basic amenities are being seen in Okpoko for the first time in the history of its creation after they were abandoned by previous governments. Soludo's second year in office has come to an end. Expectedly, the short period was marked by the demystification of governance and the laying of the foundation for a functional state. It was an era that witnessed the introduction of a new model of Doing Things Differently. It saw the building of basic infrastructure and human capital development, which is the core of governance. This is a gover

ANAMBRA: TWO YEARS OF GETTING STRONGER.

ANAMBRA: TWO YEARS OF GETTING STRONGER. By Mazi Ejimofor Opara Governor Soludo’s unique approach of reporting progress to Ndi Anambra at key moments in a style similar to how Board Chairmen of big corporations present reports to shareholders at AGMs has received a ground swell of positive commendations. The scope of the first and second year anniversaries are only different in content, given that a lot more has been added to the achievement bouquet than in the previous year, else it has remained same effective strategy of presenting detailed account of stewardship to a local and global audience of Ndi Anambra he famously refers to as his “Employers”.  Yesterday, in a much reassuring manner, Gov. Soludo declared, “the state of Anambra is strong”. If this were to be in the business world or if States were quoted in the stock exchange, Anambra’s stocks would be in the upward trend of significant profitability. This is in spite of a tragic depreciation in the value of the Naira and an unr

SOLUDO CELEBRATES 2 YEARS ANNIVERSARY WITH THANKSGIVING, SAYS THE STATE OF ANAMBRA REMAINS STRONG AND PROGRESSING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION! By Christian ABURIME Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has reaffirmed his administration's determination to deliver on his promises to ndị Anambra. Governor Soludo gave  the assurance during the Pontifical Mass of Thanksgiving organized to mark the two years of his administration. The Governor explained that despite the lean resources at his disposal, his administration is still deliberate and passionate in rebuilding the state to regain its pride of place among the states of the federation through the prioritization of the five cardinal agenda of his administration, which includes security, law and order, infrastructure and economic agenda, human capital development, social agenda and environment  He revealed that his administration has concluded in putting together a master plan for urban regeneration through the stat

Dunukofia Transition Committee Chairman, Congratulates Prof. Soludo On His 2 Years In Office. On behalf of the entire Dunukofia people, the TC Members, my family and I congratulate Mr. Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the Executive Governor of Anambra State on his two years in office. Mr. Governor, it is with utmost joy that I convey the good wishes of the entire Ndi Dunukofia and Ndi Anambra to you, on your two 2yrs of Solution Impactful Leadership cum stewardship to Ndi Anambra. In just 2yrs, Ndi Anambra have felt the impact of your visionary leadership, which you have always maintained that you are intentional about the leadership you want to give Ndi Anambra. Your administration has major projects sited in the 21 Local Government Areas of Anambra, with the ongoing construction of over 400km of roads across the State, employment of 5000 Teachers, with 3000 more underway, employment of 300 health workers with 500 more underway.  Building 4 New General Hospitals and also incr

OKPUNOEZE ROAD: SOLUDO REMEMBERS ‘EZE B’, AS HIS WIDOWED WIFE, MOTHER AND OTHERS COMMISSION ROAD

Image
OKPUNOEZE ROAD: SOLUDO REMEMBERS ‘EZE B’, AS HIS WIDOWED WIFE, MOTHER AND OTHERS COMMISSION ROAD By Mazi Ejimofor Opara  While everyone gathered to celebrate the official commissioning of the 3.2km Okpunoeze-Nnewi Hotel road, in a rather solemn twist, Governor Soludo seized the moment to remember Emeka Nwokenagu (Eze B) who, until his painful death in the hands of criminals parading as Unknown Gunmen (UGM) in the build up to the 2021 Anambra governorship election rained terror on the people, was the Uruagu Ward 1 APGA chairman. Mr Governor called for a minute silence in his honour and requested that his widow and aged mother joined in the commissioning of the road which symbolically leads to his residence.  This is a stark reminder that “Soludo never forgets”. Particularly, sincere and selfless sacrifices of his acolytes — dead or alive. This further reinforces the chore ideology of his political party, APGA which is anchored on being one’s brother and sister keeper.  To many who atte

Image
MARCH 17: SOLUDO’S SOLID, DURABLE, AND SUSTAINABLE ROADS, AND A NEW MODEL OF ROAD COMMISSIONING By Izuchukwu Adichie 15/03/2024 #24MonthsOfSoludo The road infrastructure being built in the present Anambra are of the highest quality and durability, especially in light of the fact that the current administration is led by the three time best CBN governor in the world. In this regard, Soludo's government has taken a different approach to ensure that the infrastructure built under his leadership is of superior quality and built to last. This approach is all the more impressive given the paucity of funds, staggering inflation, and the fact that no loan was borrowed, even though the 7th Assembly approved a loan of N100 billion . Soludo has set a new standard of excellence in road construction and commissioning. The state is the only one in Nigeria that mandates cement stabilization, laying of stone base, and proper drainage before the final asphalting, road marking, and provision of wal

In a frenzy of excitement for the  people of Awka North, chants of joy pervaded the air as they witnessed the inauguration of the road by Governor Soludo in company of his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim as both made a stop at each of the communities. Addressing the people, Governor Soludo recalled with nostalgia the historical significance of the long stretch road as one of the food baskets of the state, saying it  would stimulate the economy and improve the life of the people in the area. The Governor observed that it used to take hours to travel from Amansea to Awba Ofemmili, but can now be achieved in 20 minutes, with the completion of the road, an achievement that wou

MARCH 17: SOLUDO IS THE CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER. By Izuchukwu Adichie 14/03/2024. #24MonthsOfSoludo  Ever since Governor Chukwuma Soludo assumed office, he has demonstrated that he is the ideal ambassador for the Chief Marketing Officer role of the Anambra brand. He is a trailblazer who has set a precedent by making Innoson Vehicle made in Nnewi his official car, thereby becoming the first Nigerian governor in history to do so. This move has helped him fulfill his campaign promise of promoting locally made brands, while other state governors were busy flaunting foreign luxurious cars. As a Chief Marketing Officer, Soludo's primary objective is to promote and support businesses in the state, which is why he has asked ndi Anambra to make Tiger Foods their number customer. His support for the local made brands will create more jobs for the millions of unemployed youths to boost the local economy. He is a salesman with an impeccable taste for fabrics, shoes, foods, and drinks made in
