Senior Special Assistant to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Investment, Mrs Obby Okwubanego, has emphasized that one youth two skills empowerment programme is a perfect platform that will raise skilled and smart youth entrepreneurs in Anambra State.

Mrs Okwubanego gave the emphasis while noting that the programme has the capacity to boost the investment potentials of the state as many investors will always identify with a society that has the human capital and market for their business growth.



According to Mrs Okwubanego, Anambra state government has continued to build huge bilateral relationships with foreign direct investors that will in due time yield positive result and will have direct impact on the economy of the state through job creation and improved revenue for Anambra state.


She commended Governor Soludo for the sustainable empowerment initiative and the Commissioner for Youth Development Mr Patrick Agha Mba for driving the project.

Mrs Okwubanego harped on the need for every progressive society to always have plans for the youth community who she said are the future of the society even as she called on ndi Anambra especially those outside the state to invest in Anambra for the growth and development of the state.

 ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND RECORDS ANOTHER BREAKTHROUGH, ARRESTS ONE NOTORIOUS SUSPECT AND RECOVERS ONE AK47 RIFLE IN THE CEILING OF AN APARTMENT. Police Operatives attached to the Special Anti-Cultism Squad Enugu-Ukwu acting on credible information on 6th December 2024 by 2.30 pm arrested one Miracle Mwakalor  (M) 18 years from Umubele village, Awka-South Local Government Area and recovered one AK47 Rifle and one magazine.  The Operatives burst the Criminal gang in their den during an evil debrief on how they want to commit havoc in Nibo, Awka South Local Government today.  Miracle was apprehended but his other gang members escaped.
