 Dr Omenugha Intensities Efforts Towards Shaping The Building Artisans, Craftsmen Mindset

More building artisans and craftsmen in Anambra state has continued to identify with the initiative of standardization and certification of the solution administration as the Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Youth Empowerment Programme, Dr Nelson Omenugha pushes to unify them under one umbrella.

Dr Omenugha today held another fruitful meeting with the building artisans and craftsmen in Anambra state, where he received more new members.

Dr Omenugha while addressing the gathering at the SSG conference hall, government house, Awka, noted that the whole essence is to build them into becoming more responsible and valuable for their good and that of the state.


He decried the act of importing artisans from other parts of Nigeria because of their attitude to work and lack of professionalism.

He noted that getting them well trained and certified will enable them to become employable here and equally exportable, which by extension will contribute to the economic growth of the state.


Dr Omenugha expressed optimism that the initiative will also go a long way in checking building collapse in the state and advised that they get more of their members as government remains committed to expanding the frontier of excellence in skill development and transfer.
