 Idemili South Council Chairperson, Amaka Obi felicitates with Gov. Soludo over daughter's marriage

The Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Transition Committee, Hon. Mrs. Amaka Obi has felivitated with Governor Chukwuma Soludo and his family for successfully giving out the hand of his daughter, Adaora in marriage.


Speaking to newsmen at Soludo's home town, Isuofia in Aguata Local Government Area of the state during the traditional marriage ceremony  between Adaora and her hearthrob, Arinze Ibekwe, Amaka Obi expressed optimism that the marriage would keep the couple together throughout their life time.


She said it is the joy of every parent to witness the marriage ceremony of their sons and daughters while they are still alive and healthy and prayed God to keep the couple together throughout their life time.


The council boss also lauded Soludo and his wife, Nonye for giving their daughter, Adaora adequate training that would help her to cope with the marriage and charged parents to always strive to give their children or ward home training that would help to mould their character and at the same time assist them live an independent life.


Adaora's  traditional marriage at the weekend had attracted dignitaries from all works of life, including Governor Alex Otto of Abia state; Chief Chris Uba (Eselu), a member of House of Representatives for Ihiala Constituency, Hon. Paschal Agbodike, former member of House of Representatives for Orumba North/South, Hon. Okwudili Ezenwankwo, Speaker of Anambra House of Assembly, Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, commissioners and transition committee chairmen in Anambra state.
