 Idemili South Transition Chairman, Amaka Obi, Lauds Business Man For Investing In Students' Knowledge of Science and Technology

The chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State. Hon (Mrs) Amaka Obi, has lauded the commitment of business moguls from Nnobi community in the local government to bring development to place.

The chairman spoke yesterday when an international business man and Information Communication Technology (ICT) expert, Engr Jude Anyichie, organized a programne for SS3 science students of Nnobi extraction in the community.


She commended Engr Anyichie, the Ebubedike of Nnobi, for his commitment to the education of young people in the community especially in area of Science and Technology.

Commending Chief Anyichie who she described a first class computer expert, Hon Obi said he is known to have been always thinking home to improve his community Nnobi at any slightest opportunity to help the students become the best they could in science and technology.


Hon Obi lauded the business mogul for the wonderful innovation which was at exposing SS3 students in various branches of science and technology.

She asked the students to take opportunity afforded them serious by taking the ownership of the programme.


Earlier in his address Engr Anyichie had said he was inspired by the challenge of how to excel he faced while attending school in the community as a young child.



He said that now he has excelled and visited many countries of the world he found out that the children of the community were still left behind in some of the educational development.

"That is what motivated me and I said let me go back and try to change the lives of these children. Everybody should not pas through what I passed. We can make their lives better, to advance their career, to be able to achieve their goals" Anyichie said.


The businessman said he decided to focus on science and technology because apart from attend Special Science School, Onitsha in Anambra, people  everywhere depend on the Science and technolog for things to move. "And Science and Technology has  universal language. It is not cultural thing. It out there.You can talk anybody. The world today cannot be what it is without science and technology. Look at your cellphone.There are many things in to help humanity" said Ebubedike Nnobi.





He expressed his conviction that these children should be caught young in promoting science and technology so that they can join in making innovations that would transform lives as well make the world better place to live.
