 Succour For Motorists Plying Nkpor - Umuoji Road, As Idemili North LGA Chairman Embarks On Palliative Work On Failed Portions of The Road at Inland Doors Axis in Nkpor. The TC Chairman of Idemili North LGA had embarked on Palliative Work along Nkpor - Umuoji Road aimed at tackling the Failed Portions of Inland Doors Axis Nkpor. He led Councillors of Idemili North LGA, Staff of Idemili North Traffic Agency who helped in controlling the traffic during the road palliative work. The ever busy road which had recently been causing traffic gridlock at Inland Doors Axis Nkpor, for both Motorists Plying the route. Mr Chairman in his bid to ease off the traffic along the axis, decided to embark on Palliative Work on the Road pending when Anambra State Government led by Mr Governor Prof Charles Chukwuma does full rehabilitation work on the road...  Anambra State Ministry of Health Ambulance Service rescues accident victims Fourteen persons involved in a road accident that occurred at Millennium/Joel Pharmaceutical Company Junction, Enugu Onitsha Expressway Awka have been rescued by a team from the State Ministry of Health Ambulance Service. The accident which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, August 30, 2022, was a result of the brake failure of a commercial bus resulting in the fatal accident as confirmed by an eyewitness. A driver of the commercial bus who sustained a head injury while some passengers sustained minor injuries was rushed to the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital Amaku, Awka, and is currently receiving medical attention.  The good news is that no life was lost during the fatal accident.  Anambra Health commissioner advocates for optimal service delivery in PHCs By Nnedinma Okeke/Chukwudi Nwauba  The Commissioner, Anambra State Ministry of Health, Dr Afam Obidike has advocated for optimal service delivery in Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) across the state.  Dr Obidike made the advocacy in a meeting with Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency’s (ASPHCDA) Management team and  Directors of the 21 Local Government Health Authorities (LGHAs) at the Jerome Udoji Secretariat, Awka.  Also, present at the meeting was the Executive Secretary, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA), Dr Simon Onyemachi.  The commissioner noted that the essence of the meeting was on strengthening the healthcare sector through PHCs in the state.  According to him, the Executive Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo has mandated the state Ministry of Health to ensure the optimal functioning of PHCs in line with his blue print.  ``The goal is to ensure the highest possible level of hea

 ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION EXERCISE AT EKWUSIGO L.G.A RECEIVED COMPLIANCE. Environmental Sanitation exercise at Ekwusigo Local Government comprising of four towns Received compliance. The exercise started at about 7am to 10am with the TC Chairman leading the way.The Transition Chairman, Ekwusigo L.G.A, Hon. Chimezie Obi, Ward Councillors, Health Officials, law enforcement agents, waste management Contractor and some community leaders were in the fore front to making sure the clean-up exercise was successful. Desilting of drainage channels, decongestion of heap of refuse and carting away of debris were duly supervised by the officials. It was a humble plea by the T.C Chairman that every last Saturday in a month, environmental exercise should be actively observed. People were advised to comply to avoid litigation of any sort.  Anambra State Government Hands over Modern Laboratory Equipment to General Hospital Enugwu-ukwu Chidimma Oramali  Yesterday, the 26th day of August, 2022, Anambra State Government through the state Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA ) handed over laboratory equipment provided for the General Hospital, Enugwu-Ukwu.
